• If you've already been sworn in then your IN. Until then you CAN change your mind. If your past that point then you must go to Basic Training. The fastest way through Basic is to pass but if you don't mind an extra month then you could purposely fail the training. Then you'd be completely out. If you get into the Fleet then you could ask your Chaplin to help you go through channels for an early dismissal based on family medical hardship.
  • So you're on delayed entry? Talk to your recruiter immediately. I was released from delayed entry when I got pregnant. I'm NOT recommending it!! Just saying. I was also offered the opportunity to enter a program to become an officer (US Navy) once I was in boot camp. So definitely talk to your recruiter IMMEDIATELY as your time is almost up!
