Does anyone else find the small fonts on this site a bit difficult to read?
Even the larger click-through headings above are somewhat thin, lacking thickness, boldness and contrast.

I fully agree. Often when typing an answer, I can't see the periods at the end of a sentence. Then when I look back at my response, before posting, I think I got sloppy and forgot to add one ... so I'll end up adding another one.. : (

3-28-2017 Press Ctrl-+ (numeric keypad) to see a larger font.

Ice man That helps to a degree, but the comment and answer before posting font is still not heavy enough. -
Roaring Tried that before posting question and agree it still needs more body in the letter thickness.
