Well, I'm 13 years old and I do bottle cap art. As you can hopefully see below, I take bottle caps and put little picture in them. I think it's fun and it helps me gain some money by also being responsible for paying all my expenses.

When I was 13, I liked studying flags, and I still like studying them. Try out the North American Vexillological Association, but if you don't have enough money for it, then maybe you could design some flags, and put it into a blog. Someone did that at http://flagdesigner.blogspot.com, and he looks like he loves flags. Maybe I should start my own flag blog someday, too. Maybe you could design some flags for his blog, too. IDK. Whatever hobby you get, make sure it's something you like doing. I hope this helps. ;-)

Unique? I would actually research this at the library - which would be pretty unique. More important that unique would be finding something that fascinates you. How about entrepreneurship? You could start a small business in your neighborhood and involve your friends. Look for something that 9a) needs to be done over and over - and offer the service or (b0 something that people byuy regularly and offer to sell or deliver it.

Art! You could go to the library and read some art books. You never know...that could be a huge hidden talent. You could also see about acting classes. That is always fun!

Photography - not much 13 year olds do that. If you like technology, maybe something with computers - you could try building one/taking one apart. Gardening is fun and rewarding. You could plant your own vegetables and eat them, or just see your favorite flower bloom.

amatuer astronomy. it doesn't cost any thing. you can get good books at the library.

What do you like to do? Is there something that facinates you? Do you have money to spend on it? Do you want to make money with it? Do you live in the city or the countryside? What subjects are you good at in school? Are you athletic or are you more the brainy type? Are you a boy or a girl? Do you want it to just last the summer, or maybe for life? * Answer these and something will begin to make sense to you.
