Maybe something having to do with the availability of communications technology and easy access to information and entertainment (Internet, cellular phones, Ipods, etc.) for almost everyone. Perhaps "The connected 00's"?

RAP Crap. Much of the RAP today has excellent poetic lyrics and often refer to important social issues, but the so called music that goes with it is just not very musical at all ... there are very few, if any, drum or rythmn timing changes, the musical notes have almost no intracasies to their progression patterns, and although fans love what is being sung about, music critics call it crap.

The way it's going so far I am thinking it will be "The War Generation," "The Terror Generation," or "The Decline of Tolerance."

I supposde you mean the years 2000-2009. The September 11 2001 terrorist attacks and the wars and terrorist attacks following it. Also, it will be considered the "reality TV decade".
