If you have a Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS charger will work in the Game Boy Advance SP. If you need a new charger, you should be able to buy one in Nintendo's online store.

The only safe way is to actually use the charger. I'm sure that there are other ways, but may involve using risk of hazard.

YES! finally i found a way, all you need to do is put your gameboy batery in a bowl of water for about 3-5 hours, the batery should last yu for another 4 hours
