• There was something I used to buy about 10 years ago, imported from China and named a 'Nashi Pear'. Texture like a crispy pear without the dryness, tasted like a sweet but tangy apple with a bit of citrus, skin not bitter but crispy like an apple, and eaten like one. I haven't seen one on sale anywhere for years, but haven't looked very hard so they may be available.
  • Dragonfruit - Cut them open, eat it in slices.
