I know a couple from my Navy days. I forgot some since i got out but maybe these are what your talking about? Memorandum (Just a basic memo) Memorandum of Understanding (Memo between two parties to resolve an issue) Memorandum for (Memorandum to a specific person usually someone with a title like Financial Officer or Treasurer so it can stand the test of time after the position turned-over to someone else) Hope that helps
