ANSWERS: 25
  • Nope, who has the right to say what you cant watch at 25?
  • No it's not, Spongebob Squarepants is one of my favourite programmes and i'm 39 !!
  • Cartoons are made by adults for adults. The fact that children watch them is disturbing because if they get the humor, the are too advanced and if they don't get it, what's the point in watching it?
  • Some might think so, but I feel that as adults we should all embrace our "inner child" - if a person likes to watch cartoons then they should be okay with watching them. If that's all a person, of that age, wants and likes to watch then that could be considered too old. I'm 41 and there are times that I even like to watch new and old cartoons - just not all the time.
  • The "Flintstones" were originally created not for children but for adults. I'm told. Anyway adult animation usually just isn't called cartoons but tomatoe..tomotoe. My favorite animated movie of all time is still "Heavy Metal".
  • Like many things, I think it's perfectly fine in moderation. As long as it doesn't interfere with other, more important aspects of your life (job, family, etc.)
  • It is if it's Saturday morning and you watch all the kiddie cartoons instead of the housework that you know you should be doing.
  • No, absolutely not! Let me ask you this...is 70 y/o too old to go to college? There is no age limit to do anything in this country. Watching cartoons is normal. Even reading comics is normal. And plus, you're only 25, that's definitely not old!
  • I still watch cartoons, and I collect toys. Never too old to have fun.
  • NO, why would it? Does the person enjoy them? If they do, great! If they only watch cartoons and do so hour after hour, then that isn't healthy but I'd say that no matter what was being watched. My husband and I are in our 50s and we just started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender a couple of years ago.
  • I agree. You're never too old to watch cartoons. Sponge Bob, Family Guy, and King of the Hill are some of my favorites. I'm 61.
  • No, not at all. I still like some of the old cartoons as well as the "newer" Anime Programs.
  • I hope not... I'll be 43 in August and I still do!
  • Heck no. Tons of cartoons are intended for adults. Check out some of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. Most of the humor would not be caught by kids....esp all the sexual innuendoes. And let's not forget FRITZ the CAT.
  • No, not at all. Harmless entertainment.
  • No one is too old to watch cartoons.
  • No. It is only a matter of why are You watching them, how often, what kind, how are You reacting to them and how many have You seen already of the same type.
  • I am 61 and I watch them every day..I love Sponge Bob
  • no I still watch them in matter of fact I rather watch them over any of the stuff on tv nowdays.
  • Good grief no! I'm 66 and I still love to watch some of the older cartoons, like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, etc. The newer ones leave me cold, however.
  • No. It is only a matter of why are You watching them, how often, what kind, how are You reacting to them and how many have You seen already of the same type.
  • I think not. Smiling and laughing is so very good for you, no matter your age. I used to be such a prude when it comes to situation comedies, etc. on T.V. but have come to believe that we are better off both physically and mentally if we take advantage of opportunities to smile and laugh. There is more than enough "seriousness" to go around. I'd rather be around someone who enjoys light-hearted humor than someone who is consumed with serious matters. I have a retired acquaintance who watches T.V. news for hours and hours every day and all he seems to do during a conversation is come up with things to complain about. I do agree with the earlier respondent, that is, the newer cartoons don't have the appeal of the older ones.
  • I'm older than that and I watch Family Guy.
  • The older I get the more sense they are starting to make.
  • I still watch cartoons sometimes It reminds me of my childhood
