• IMO it means that you should carefully consider something before you go ahead and do it. You should look at both sides of the issue, the good and the bad.
  • Make sure you think and rethink all options before you go ahead and choose one because you don't want to do something you'll end up regretting later.
  • don't act without thinking it through and then you'll have to fix it, but take a min to think about a second time, and be sure your taking the right course of action the first time around
  • do it right the first time. life does not always come with an think your actions out thoroughly before you commit to the action.
  • To me it means that when making a decision, you must consider pros and cons, then act accordingly. Once you've made that decision, go all the way, don't second-guess yourself.
  • I was taught measure twice cut once but it's the same idea. You can't uncut the wood and you can't undo the action you need to make sure you have the right measurements and information first.
  • There is no "opinion" about it. The expression means to think about actions rather than acting on impulses.
