My surname is Tam. I am Chinese. I never knew that Koreans have the same surname. The origin of my surname name originated from 684 B.C. China. My ancestors had a kingdom during the Zhou Dynasty. However, the kingdom was annihilated by the Qi Kingdom. So the people of the Tan Kingdom moved to the Lu Kingdom and adopted the last name Tan or Tam to commemorate for their lost kingdom. yup. That's pretty much what I know about my last name. I'm really proud of it. I have royalty blood! =D
