Potosí is officialy the poorest city in the world according to this web site. http://www.pitchford.com/bolivia/bo_potosi.html It's probably some shanty town outside a megalopolis where the chief building material is card board and having running water is not sanitary. I can think of the outskirts of São Paulo and next the outskirts of Mombay where the official homeless population has exceeded one million. I know both cities are invalid since they are focal hubs for their respective countries where great amounts of wealth are contrasted by great amounts of poverty.
