  • Sure. However, it can also be looked at as a joyous moment because we will see God and our likeness to him. We will fully be able to see God and He will welcome us into his kingdom if we led a good life.
  • Don't dwell on things you can do nothing about. You're missing out on living!
  • Its ok but don't get so worried about it that you neglect to live.
  • Of course, if we weren't all scared of death on some subconcious we would run around risking our lives over ridiculous things and the human population would plummet. However, if you allow fear of death to dominate your thoughts everyday it isn't healthy. I know it can often be difficult, but try to concentrate on living now. Live your life to the full, enjoy it, death will come it is inevitable but that shouldn't stop you enjoying your existence.
  • i have talked about it with a priest..and he said that when you're doin' good here, and you know that you're not hurting anyone, and you did everything that you have to..responsibilities, blah blah blah.., then you dont have to be afraid to die...^^
  • Sure it is. I mean, imagine dying, and not knowing where your next destination will be. It's okay to be scared.
  • it's quite normal. I remember my mum looking at me the day before she died and saying "I'm scared." ALl I could do was pat her hand and say "that's natural, mum. I mean, you're going to go through something that has never happened to you. But, I promise you, mum, that Jesus will be waiting for you on the other side. I promise." She smiled. I hope you can find someone to comfort you too.
  • If you weren't, id say you were either very brave, or insane.
  • Yes. We are scared about uncertainty. What's going to happen once we die?....That's the BIG Question....I wish I knew the answer.
  • This is so common. It's all a part of being human and fearing the unknown. We all have a fear of death no matter how old we get. Just don't let it dominate you. Don't fear life because of death. Enjoy life inspite of it.
  • death is nothing to fear.
  • no its not okay to be scared about death. Yeah its normal, but your wasting time. If your scared about death, then be scared about getting diseases, about the poverty dying, hey, how about how many misquetos you are going to hit with your car driving home tonight? So many people have died in my life.. boyfriend, brother, unckle, grandma etc. I use to be scared of loosing my mom somehow when i was young.. but you just have to learn to live life everyday to the fullest. If you think about negative things all the time.. like death, you will just go into depression. Just realize that it could happen to anyone or anything anyday. Its the people that are in denile about it that really pisses me off to. Its freaking life guys. ahha
  • We all have a God-given will to live that we should listen to, but you don't have to be scared of death. I shouldn't be scared of death because I know that when I die I'll go to heaven because I have accepted Jesus into my heart and life as my personal Savior(John 3:16-17, 14:1-7, Romans 10:9-13). How about you? :) -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • Of course it is. We really do not know what happens when we die, so it is common. We fear the unknown.
  • It is okay to be..but kind of unneccesary stress..why be scared of death..its a natural thing :)
  • its scary, and its certainly natural to worry about it. But you can let it drag you down or stop you from being you. No one knows for sure whats on the other side, so you have to make up you own mind. Do you live for today knowing that your life is real, and worth living? Or do you live for tomorrow hoping that something better exists on the other side?
  • Fear of death is nothing to be afraid of. A few years ago I lived with the fear of death every day. I bet thats why I'm still here.
  • yes, but your duty is to live life until you die an old fart in Florida playing shuffle board with your friends.
  • After seeing a number of people die the fear we have now is often gone at the point of death and a peaceful sliding away takes place. This is not true of everybody but it is for many!
