How do i find out the code for my detroit 60 bought truck but need the codes any help

What codes are you refering to? Engine serial number will be located on a sticker on the valve cover or on the rear of the engine block drivers side under the lip of the valve cover. A key to the serial number meaning is available in the Detroit 60 series manual. Computer codes; turn the key to the run position and press the diagnostic button (if it has one, depending on the year, earlier DDECs might need a wire shunted, not something you want to make a mistake on) the check engine light will flash codes similar to the way GM systems work. Count the flashes, and write down the codes. A key to the codes is available, but I can't remember where. If your looking for something else please let me know.

WANT TO TURN MY SPEED UP AND MY HP. I HAVE SEEN A PRINT OUT A SERVICE PM, IT SAID I HAD A OVER SPEED AT 73 MPH A FEW TIMES. THE SPEED IS SET A 69 MPH. DOSE THAT MEAN THAT IF I TRUNED IT UP TO 75 MPH THAT IT WOULD SHOW AND OVER SPEED IF GOES OVER 75? IF SO IS THERE ANY PROGRAMS ON THE INTERNET THAT I COULD DOWN LOAD TO DO SO. OR MAYBE USE IT TO BLUETOOTH UP TO MY TRUCK. ITS A 2005 TRUCK COLUMBA WITH DETROIT 60, IT HP IS 455-515.
