Causes
There are many potential causes of an asthma attack in a child, including exercise, weather changes, tobacco smoke and medicine.
Symptoms
Children with pediatric asthma can have symptoms that rapid and strained breathing, chest tightness, coughing and shortness of breath.
Medicine's Effects
Children who suffer from asthma may also be affected by the medicine they take. In these cases, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Physical Activity
Children with asthma may not be able to take part in physical activities. Parents should talk to their child's doctor to determine whether exercise is safe, because these activities could trigger an asthma attack.
