Dr. Hulda Clark (1928 -- 2009) was a Ph.D. in physiology and a naturopath who focused on consulting and independent research in all aspects of human disease, especially cancer.
Disease
According to Clark, the cause of all disease is either pollutants and/or parasites. She stated that she never found lack of exercise, vitamin deficiencies, hormone levels or anything else to be a main cause of disease. Her solution was to treat parasites with herbs and an electronic device she invented called the Zapper and to avoid pollution as much as possible.
Books
Clark wrote a number of books based on her work, including "The Cure for All Diseases," "The Cure for All Cancers," and "The Cure for HIV/AIDS."
Treatments
Clark's treatments include various cleanses: liver, kidney, colon, etc.
Syncrometer
Clark created a device called a Syncrometer to test for pollutants. Instructions for building and using this device are contained in her book "The Cure for All Diseases."
Controversy
Clark's opinions and practices are highly controversial. In 2003, the Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint against the Dr. Clark Research Association for "making numerous unsubstantiated efficacy claims for a variety of dietary supplements and devices."
