My Healing Nose Piercing Question(s)?
I just got my nose pierced Saturday, They pierced me with a 16 Gauge Nose Stud-I believe it's titanium?-but anyways, The post of it was to long for my nose, and was VERY uncomfortable, so I took it out and switched it with a different Stud that my mom bought me for christmas. The gauge on the stud I'm wearing right now is smaller than the 16 gauge,e I think it might be a 18-22 gauge, I'm not sure though. And it's Sterling Silver. Earlier I did some research and the website I was on said the Sterling silver can cause a black ring to form around my piercing since it's new and still healing, is this true? Is this true? Or are they just trying to scare me/keep me from changing my stud to soon?
The other one was really uncomfortable, and I have no way to get out to any Tatoo artists/Piercers right now to get any stainless steel, niobium, titanium or 14k gold studs..What should I do? Change back to the horibly uncomfortable one[The one they pierced me with was making my nose ...
