  • In my opinion it's because, once they isolate the Bacteria, it will certainly kill the infection. Viruses are difficult to diagnose and can last longer due to the fact antibiotics don't touch them. There are numerous anti-viral drugs, but again it has to be the right drug for the right Virus. Normally Viruses run their course, but Bacterial Infections can spread to other organs and various parts of the body such as the blood.
  • viruses mutate when they reproduce, so when your body maks the necessary antibodies, it has a new "identity". These antibodies are useless, as they cannot indentify the virus.
  • maybe cause theres no antibiotics for it
  • Virii are much much smaller and antibiotics don't work against them.
