  • I would say "I don't know yet. I'm not dead and I have a few outstanding sins that I need to repent of." :) - It's an interesting term though. My understanding is that someone says "I let Jesus into my heart" and they consider themselves saved. If only it were that easy. ;)
  • Not yet. But I'm working on it.
  • Well it depends on who is asking and what they mean by it. - To the preacher on the street corner I usually reply "Yes! I believe in the saving power of the Atonement of my Lord Jesus Christ." - To the inquisitive ABer I usually reply "From physical death yes, from spiritual death conditionally" And then we have a nice little chat about salvation and it's differant meanings. - To my RM buddies I usually say "I'm working on it, not getting complacent just yet." And then we have a nice little chat about salvation and it's differant meanings (which is what an RM is usually hoping for it seems to me when they ask the question) - And to my athiest friends my response is traditionally "Sure, you can be to would you like to know how" Which then usually leads to some playful ribbing back and forth.
  • It depends on the context. Most of the time I will answer a similar question, indicating my understanding of their word "saved". As an example, "I've accepted Jesus as my Savior".
