  • entrance wounds are often very small - much smaller than you see in most movies (no blood and gore spraying out of most entrance wounds like they show in the movie). Exits can be MUCH bigger, depending on the weapon and ammunition.
  • My partner was shot in the leg once. He didn't know it until about 30 seconds later. All we saw initially was a hole in his pants with a little smoke coming through the polyester. No exit wound either. The 9mm bullet did not exit but stuck right next to his bone after entering in through the calf.
