-
yeah, it kinda does. i wouldnt say anything, but i would bother me.
-
Yes... a lot.
-
Wow! I am surprised by the answers here. Super question. No I am not bothered. I am a rather animated talker and I am always touching peoples hands or arm when I speak. It has never occurred to me that it would bother someone. To me it is a friendly gesture. I guess I need to think about it before I do it again.
-
yeah, im funny about physical contact anyway
-
I would kind of be really weirded out for a second but let it go.
-
I do not like it. It is an invasion of my personal space.
-
Most definitely... There are very few people I like touching me at all, and that doesn't include anyone who isn't a close friend.
-
i used to have a REAL problem with people touching me ... then i realized that it wasn't them that was the problem but me ... so working on those intimacy issues, while i haven't gone all touchy-feely, i no longer cringe ....
-
It bothers me if someone I DO know very well touches my arm while they are talking to me...
-
Sometimes, it depends on the touch and the context. If it's a nice older lady then I wouldn't probably think much of it but a creepy guy would bother me. I really am not a touchy feely kind of person, I do get a little weirded out sometimes.

+5 invasion of personal space, it bothers me
-
It can, yes, very much so. It rarely as happened thank goodness.
-
No, it does not bother me at all and I touch when I feel the need to put a little emphasis on how I feel. I would rather a touch than a little shove. I know a woman that shoves me whenever she says something funny. Now THAT I can't stand.
-
It only bothers me at work. Ain't no convict touching me, or he'd end up with a stump. But if its in everyday life I don't mind. Just as long As I don't dislike the person.
-
Yes can be uncomfortable if do not know you.
-
Yes, it bothers me a great deal....
-
of course now one has the right to touch my arms while talking in fact i have my own space.
-
Of course...their hands may not be very clean. Why can't they just keep their hands to themselves? +5

It bothers me when people I KNOW well keep touching me while they're talking. What's up with that? Stop touching me!
-
Not if I'm wearing long sleaves, jacket or sweater.
-
No I'm a touchy feely person. If anything I usually feel sort of complimented because I think it means that person is comfortable with me.
-
Back away from the arm and no one gets hurt!
-
Yes. I pay attention when people speak to me, no need to touch or grab my arm.
-
Usually only if it's another guy.
-
Nah, no big deal. Hey, it could be A LOT worse....;-D.. http://www.salon.com/mwt/broadsheet/feature/2009/09/16/ladies_special/
-
It really depends on who they are, and my mood at the time and how long I've been talking to them. Sometimes it bothers me alot, and sometimes I don't mind at all.
-
It's the most rude gesture you can make. In Scotland they'll give you a "Glasgow Kiss" (A head butt on the bridge of the nose) in the Middle East they'll give 3 lashes, in China they'll prosecute for indecency and in America they'll make you a therapist.
-
Yes. Sometimes, however, it even bothers me if I do know you. I don't like to be touched.
-
Yeah it does, I hate it when people touch me for no reason!
-
Not if it's a beautiful woman. Otherwise us Brits are not very touchy-feely, unlike the Mediterraneans.
