  • Your outside temperature sensor is faulty or it somehow has moved too close to the engine. If the climate control computer thinks it really IS 195 degrees outside, then it will go for "MAX A/C" regardless of your desired temperature setting because..Golly, It's ****hot*** outside. Similarly, if the climate control computer thinks it's 195 degrees outside, it's going to ignore any request to heat the incoming air unless you crank the heat to Maximum (i.e. telling the computer "I want heat! I don't care what the outside temperature is.) Replace or relocate the outside temperature sensor, and your system should return to normal operation. Good luck.
