I have been a celebrity. I began modelling at age six in my native Japan, and soon, I was in movies as well. It was fun to be noticed so much when I was just a child, but it soon became uncomfortable. Everywhere I went, people stared in awe at me and behaved foolishly. I escaped most of that by moving to the USA. I soon had an American boyfriend, and I did not tell him that I was an actress-model. One day, we entered a new store, and a girl from my high school class was working there, and she told my new boyfriend all about me. Many people stared when they heard I was a celebrity in Japan. My boyfriend wanted to buy some of my movies. When he took them to the counter, the boy clerk stared at the photo on the boxes of the movies and at me. My boyfriend informed him that I was indeed the star of "Gurenbana", "Manji Mai 2" and "Zero Woman 3" that he was buying. No one else in San Francisco recognized me however, so I did not have the nuisance of people gawking at me again.
