TOO OLD???? Oh to be a kid of thirty again... You're only old if you want to be devilman.
-
No! Some people are just graduating from college at that age; i.e medical and research students!
-
Nope... Forget 30, my Dad started a new career at 50, and he loves it! He has also gone straight through the 'ranks' over the last three years from unexperienced newby to make it to managing from the top of the company! Never to late to be successful in a new career, let alone start it.
-
It is never too late
-
no, if the carreer is competitive and earns a lot of money i'd say go for it.
-
no way. dear abby once said to something similar whether you keep on doing what you are or change you will be the same age in 5 years, so why not be doing what you want to.
-
Not at all. 30 would be ideal. I resigned my bank job at the age of 34 and went into business of my own.
-
yes and no it all one what job you are going for
-
noo ... it's never too late
-
You are never too old to start a career. I was close to 30 when I got my PHD and started mine. I went to school with someone that was in there 40's. You are never too old.
-
It is never to late to start a new career if you feel it is what you were born to do.
-
Not at all. And it's not too late to go back to school either.
-
I sure hope not as I am older than 30, and am changing, but not by choice.
-
never too late
-
I have had 7 professional careers. The last one I started in 2000 at the age of 62. And, I'm not through yet. There are just too many fun things to do. If it's something that you want to do, go for it!
-
nope. People start successful careers at all stages of life.
-
I hope not. I am 32 now and have been a stay home mom to my children for the past 12 yrs. My youngest will be starting kindergarten this school year and now that all my children will be in school all day, I would like to go back to school myself and earn a degree in something.
-
I did it at 34 and I'm doing it again at 43. Someday I'll know what I want to be when I grow up.
-
Nope, you will probably have several more after this too.
-
@#$% No! ;-)
-
Col Harlan Sanders started his first chicken restaurant when he was 65. 'Nuff said.
-
New career? I haven't even started my first career......
-
Not at all. People start new careers much later in life. You might have to accept the consequences of a career re-start which may be a downcheck in pay or position. I had to deal with that when I left the military.
-
no way...30 is still young!
-
Besides the Colonel, Grandma Moses didn't start her art career until she was in her 60's. You can start anytime. All you need is motivation.
-
nope
-
I don't think so. I started a new career when I was 30, then when I was 40, then when I was 50. It is probably a good idea to start a new one every ten years or so. Nuts, I'm 62 and am past due for a new career. I've been thinking of becoming one of those Chippendale dancers. I can get the grandmas to put dollar bills in my boxers.
-
What makes you think that? I've seen 40 somethings kicked out of jobs and 50 somethings start companies
-
yes, youre a geezer. NO OF COURSE ITS NOT TOO LATE.
-
Never too late, +5
-
Absolutely not! My mum got a degree in her late 30s and now she's started in a career that most would start in years ago! Seriously, it's great to keep working at what you want. Remember, at 30 you still have about another 30 years before you retire.
-
Why would 30 be too late to start a new career?? WHEN PEOPLE LEAVE THE FORCES THEY ARE NORMALLY 40 AGE IS NOTHING HUNNI ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO STRAT A NEW CAREER.
-
No and I seriously hope I'm correct.
