  • I admit if I had to be a woman for a day, I would have a very difficult time adjusting to it. I think it would be much more difficult for many reasons.
  • Guys, because they'd have to learn how not to be so rude in general (sure, not all guys are that way) plus they'd freak when "that" part went missing.
  • This is an excellent question. I'm leaning towards guys but I don't really have a good reason to.
  • Men would have a harder time adjusting! you would need to sit to pee, big change. some of you would have to deal with PMS from our end of it. deal with being treated as lesser for the same if not more work. and most diffiuclt for men to deal with in terms of the change, and you are going to laugh but you know its true, is going in public and NOT playing with your new found breasts (admit it guys you wouldnt leave the house!)!
  • Guys would have a hard time adjusting. Girls have much better social skills, or at least different, that guys would wreak havoc in their midst. The proverbial "bull in a China Shop.......
  • Guys. We would not get anything done. We would stare at our boobs in the mirror all day.
  • redacted answer.
  • Men of course, they make a big deal out of everything
  • I'm going to say that guys would have a tougher time in general. I think women relate to the world and other people in more subtle and complex ways than men do (I'm not saying it's better, just different...) Hence, I think it would be easier for a woman to "dumb down" to the way most guys operate than it would be for a man to "wise up" to the way women operate. This is very reminiscent of the original Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror", where the Enterprise crew had to operate in an alternate universe, where the rules of conduct were different. . . .
  • Ok here is my line of thinking. If its only one day I think it would be harder to adjust to being a guy. This is because guys I think are judged socially so much harder by eachother then girls are and they would have guy friends who would just lack emotional depth that they are used to getting. HOWEVER I think if you where talking about adjusting for a month or longer I think it would be much harder to adjust to being a girl. I don't know how they deal with feeling like crap once a month.
  • Pity the poor transvestites. They'd probably spontaneously combust.
  • Definitely guys, no question about it. There is much more to being a women then a man.
  • Men, they can't handle multi tasking.
  • without a doubt...guys ;-)
  • guys cuz the would have to take there hads off of there new breasts and leave the house
  • guy's lord only knows what my kids would look like for school I have no clue if he would make it to work on time or if the other kids would get to daycare. I don't think he would put up with the crap I do at my job so I would not have a job later and we would eat hot dogs and chilie for dinner.
  • Guys would never be able to cope. Girls would most likely enjoy it.
  • Girls. At least I know I would have a hard time learning how to do nothing all day.
  • guys for sure.
  • guys...they couldnt handle anything we put up with in a normal day...thats what i think
  • Guys. Let's see THEM deal with cramps and PMS.
  • girls. guys would just get to much pleasure out of it and girls would spend the entire day being potty trained
  • Men. No question. Especially if, on that day, they had to deal with PMS. HA!
  • aww man if i was a woman for a day i couldnt pee anywhere!!! that blows
  • I think men would be miserable. Suddenly a second-class citizen, being constantly reminded it's your job to be 1. beautiful (or worthless) 2. afraid 3. submissive 4. subordinate 1. If you ARE beautiful, you're a target every time you leave the house, every time you interact with a male with power over you. If you AREN'T, you're either picked on (for your "failure"), or, after a certain age, simply ignored by men, by women, by television & movies, by corporate America as either an employee or a consumer. 2. Be afraid! Be very afraid! Lock your house, don't go out, don't go out at night, don't go out alone, don't travel, don't go to other countries, don't! Don't! Don't! Don't even walk your dog! Don't get in the car without checking the back seat EVERY TIME! Don't walk out to your car after dark! Don't talk to strangers! Don't even answer your phone without Caller I.D.! Don't walk in the woods! Don't walk alone on the beach! Don't go camping without a man or men! A LIFETIME of that doesn't make it easier to live with; to experience this constant din of intimidation for the first time in a single day would make most men berserk. 3. Don't look a man in the face, especially just walking down the street. Keep your eyes down. No eye contact. Most men would be outraged at being forced to do this -- the way black men were before the Civil Rights Movement. 4. No matter how tired you are, put everyone around you first, even the adults who could perfectly well take care of themselves. Put yourself last to be a good woman / good employee / good family member. I think HALF a day would be enough to make most men nuts, and that's without trying to get used to the crippling shoes and uncomfortable, limiting clothes. And the low salaries.
  • Both. Changing is difficult once you have mastered the relevant functions of each genre.
  • Guys definately.
  • Guys, they'd have to wait 3 hours in line at a club to use the bathroom and then remember to squat and wipe. lol
  • Guys would have it harder... Girls are already out there doing everything that guys do and often deal with biases, but guys wouldn't be able to handle half the stuff that girls do plus the bias, not to mention all the emotional and physical stuff they go through. Don't think so.
  • Girls. Girls can get away with alot more. Also, I don't think that I could piss properly standing up.
  • That would be men!!!!!!
  • guys... it just seems a lot easier to b a guy
  • it would be harder for a man to adjust because women usually play both roles but guys can be teased or called feminin for things like cooking, doing laundry, or handling the kids all day. maybe they wont be viewed as feminin but usually women can be a wife who takes care of things at the house and the kids or a provider who has a paying job and spends her whole day at work, while men are usually, or traditionally the ones who spend all day at work, then come home to rest. basically what im saying is women are already used to playing the role of a man. usually when they are single, or a single parent. but if men are single, they usually dont have kids, or dont spend time with the kids they have because of an unplanned pregnancy or a divorce, where the mother would almost always have custody. sure the guy might pay child support but again thats being a financial provider, not someone who cooks and cleans for them.
  • Men would have the hardest time. Sure, at first I really think they'll try to use chivalry at their advantage, but entering first in an already crowded room, being pampered if very pretty is not worth the whole packet of sacrifices being a woman will bear, even if only for a day. A man turning into a woman could be lucky indeed and find herself in a good social ambient, or find herself locked in a shitty work that she can do in fact better than a man, but, being a woman, she's forced to do looking at the clock because her chauvinist hubby put on her all the weight of growing up the kids, so she'll have to race to school, than home, cook and clean and stuff. On work she may be constantly harassed, abused verbally and sexually harassed, and if she tries to complain, the blame could be put on her way of dressing, since a man at work with his shirt open and patting her secretary's back every time he feels to is "cool", a woman wearing something tight and lacy because after work she has a date and smiling everyone because she feels happy is a "brainless bimbo" or a "slut". If in that day you'll have to buy a car, or a computer, they'll talk to you as they would talk to a brain-damaged kid, because women aren't allowed to "know stuff".
  • i think guys would ahve a harder time expecially if the girl was on their rag with cramps...and bloating...lol
  • OBVIOUSLY guys would. Just having boobs alone is hard enough.
  • Dudes, cause we're not as good as women when it comes to head games
  • Guys...
  • a gal it would be hard to get use to guys!
  • Wake up ladies! Smell the coffee and open your eyes. Women would have a harder time. Look at your man now. Leaves all the decisions up to you, wants you to control everything and do all of the protecting. Todays man is perfectly happy to be take the submissive roll and be the one that is taken care of. As a matter of fact, he prefers it. Maybe that's why so many women feel frustrated and unfulfilled today. Anyway, this is just the short answer.
  • Women would have a hard time adjusting since their chances of dying earlier will have suddenly increased. All of a sudden, people would stop being nice to them, simply because of their gender. Suddenly, THEY are expected to pay for everything, open their own doors, carry their own heavy crap, kill the spiders and mice, check on the noise in the house at night, work the longer hours, do more business travel, commute further, and be expected to bring home the bigger paycheck if necessary.
  • I would have to say guys. I'm a guy who has spent a lifetime exploring and enjoying my feminine side and I know it ain't easy to be a girl, but it sure is fun!
  • Men. Women are allowed to be more masculine and have more masculine traits while men are considered weird if they maintain several feminine traits or qualities. In otherwords, tomboys are more accepted than metrosexuals, making it harder for men in this situation.
  • girls. picture a girl going into a bar having to fend for herself. no one to buy her drink. not everyone hitting on her. she would be sooo lost
  • Transvestites of either gender! ;-)
  • This is a good Q.. Being a woman, I'd say a man has it easier, N that a man wld generaly say there glad to be male n not female, due to menstuation, childbirth, n menopause. So from that.. I'd say men wld find it harder to adjust.
  • Probably putting on make up. I think a guy would just sit there totally confused. Actually other than that there might not be all so many problems. Someone mentioned PMS I think too many people and especially guys joke about moodiness. But testosterone has problems. It can be like a roller coaster ride of aggression, hostility and moodiness too. I'll cite an advantage though. Assuming I would be of average looks it would be pretty nice being approached by the opposite sex rather that taking the initiative and likely rejection so common. Guys would definitely find it harder to adjust though. Between hair, makeup and getting dressed it would be very strange. Gee! hope that wouldn't require walking in high heels. Skip all the physical things though. I think the most interesting thing would be experiencing the thinking of a woman. I would hope when I changed back that experience would remain and I would better understand women. Best thing about a woman being a man for a day. I would hope they had a job interview or job promotion scheduled.Probably the best thing about being a guy is we usually get paid more for doing the same job. So I think women would enjoy that catch up. American Idol mentioned multi tasking. Yes, she hit on a good one. Men think linear and one track. Multitasking would be interesting. Know what would really be terrible though? Waking up a women at a hospital and being wheeled into a delivery room in labor. Nothing that a woman could experience as a man could be so bad. Well maybe war combat. Having been in war and wounded that can vary. Mostly you get shot or shrapneled go into shock and really don't feel that much pain till they give you morphine and then it hurts like hell, because you can finally let loose.
  • I would love it.I was born with the body of a male and the brain of a female...now transitioning. I'll be first in line,if no one objects to that.
  • it doesnt matter they all would be too buisy playing with themself's all day
  • I think it would be equally hard for both genders. Guys would find out what it's like to get paid less for the same work and what it's like to constantly get hit on by guys. But women would find out what it's like to not have the upper hand in the dating world and find out how it feels to get rejected on a Friday night and what it's like to have that nagging ass girlfriend bug you. They would find out how we really feel when they bug us during a game.
  • Both genders would have it tough, reckon it would be harder for us guys though. It would be fun though, (providing i was a real fit woman) - probably wouldn't leave the bedroom allday lol !!
  • Men, because they are more strict about adhering to gender norms than women are. Women can adopt behaviors that were once considered masculine (like wearing pants and playing sports) and no one bats an eye, but men are ridiculed if they enact feminine behavior. So I think they'd have a harder time adjusting to being female.
  • Probably guys. They don't tend to like being emasculated figuratively - how would they react if it were physically so?
  • Obviously, the training men go through to prepare them for adulthood has to be considered nonexistent when compared to the training women have to endure. Why is this? Men should be trained in or made aware of everything that women have to do, just as much as women are, so they can adequately contribute to their relationships. Maybe that is why women are so much more emotional, because they've been so stressed in their training while growing up. They are aware of the things that have to be done to have an equal companionship. Men need to open their perspectives to catch the real joys women have already mastered, because society has made sure women are taught and then given choices, even to choosing what they can wear and what occupations they want to achieve. Men, on the other hand, are basically, lazy. Oh they work to become professional in some speciality, but once they achieve their status, they are usually content to maintain it and no more. It has often fallen to the women on the time of consummation to educate the guys, even though both have varied in their promiscuous lifestyles and think they know it all.
  • I think girls would. They are too used to describing things based on emotional feedback where as men use pure logic (not that our logic is always correct). I don't think they'd be able to effectively communicate as a man because they would instinctively try to utilize their feminism to convey the emotion they don't have the words for which wouldn't go over well with a man (a straight man) or from man to woman. Where as a woman speaking as a devoid of emotion as a man might just be seen as a bitch but would be able to communicate effectively.
  • I think it would depend on the individual
