For years, i thought 409 was the very best cleaning liquid. Then, my wife bought a bottle of Awesome. Its concentrated and makes 409 seem like a puppy. Awesome will clean just about anything. Not sure where she buys it, but its the best out there.

Ecover multi purpose =) .. or cillit bang, shamefully... actually, also just plain old bleach or Ajax. I get very excited about cleaning products!

Elbow-grease. We use too many chemicals when just some good old fashioned scrubbing will do the job.

Shimmer! It's a floor polish...AND a dessert topping! http://www.tahoedailytribune.com/article/20080724/NEWS/435406272/

I make my own with equal portions of ammonia, cheap dish detergent, and water. I put it in a plastic spray bottle and use it in the bathroom (esp. after bathing - on the tub, that is) and in the kitchen. It is cheap and as effective as commercial preps.

Generic orange cleaner. Seems to work on anything and is a good grease remover from stovetops.
-
Water. Too many chemicals in other things. If I need something stronger, soap or windex may help. A real good cleaner to clean tag adhesive off of bowls, pots, pans, etc. is vegetable oil.
-
Bleach(Colorox), ammonia(Windex) and Pinesol.

Bartender's Friend. It cleans everything. Well, don't use it on wood, dummy!
-
i use windex for everything:)

I like the smell of Murphy's Oil Soap. Regardless of the cleanliness of my house, I walk around the place with an opened bottle of Murphy's Oil Soap under my nose and all is good. +5

Something very neutral, but with a scrub pad and lots of work!

My favorite for cleaning is COmet - but it is not too good for the environment, I suspect
