• I am pretty sure is was Magellan. But don't hold me to it. It has been awhile since I have had any history studies.
  • C something google it.
  • I think Galileo Galilee who fist proved that the world is round with his voyage around the globe.
  • Ferdinand Magellan captained the voyage that performed the first circumnavigation, but he himself didn't finish the trip. He was killed in the Philippines. So the answer to the question would be "Magellan's crew".
  • There is some speculation that a Chinese "admiral" did it...before Magellan... He departed China with a large fleet, but only a small number made it back. nothing about this has been proved. And there were reports during the early history of South Australia and Victoria in the 1800's of a ship, possibly a junk, exposed on the beach. If ever found, it would prove Australia had been visited by Asians before Europeans.
