I do my mom got me in the habit of using it all the time even when I'm not on an incline. She said using the brake can help prevent someone from towing your car don't know how true that is but I still do it.

Yes, I do now. My husband (a master tech mechanic and test driver) drilled it in my head. He said that it puts less wear on the internal parts in the transmission when you use it.

is the parking break the hand break?? If so i use it all the time. even in my FLAT drive way. just always got in the habbit of it.

You should ask when I don't use it. I use it about 99.9% of the time. I got into the habit, despite being on a fairly flat hill to park on.

I do. Just about every time I park. I started doing it before I ever drove a stick, but I spent a good long time driving only stick where I had to every time. So it's a firmly implanted habit now. :)

Yep. When you drive a manual it's a good idea to use the parking brake or you may find your car in a space where you didn't leave it (ahhh, the pranks I have done...). Either that or I leave it in gear.
