i have a pet that acts like an alarm clock even if i dont want to wake up, like saturdays for instance. she wakes me up EVERYDAY no later than 7. its annoying really.
-
Some people do. THe animals I know do that for 1) food 2) chance to go out or 3) toilet time.
-
Nope but I have kids that act as alarm clocks and make sure im up at 7 am sharp!
-
My cats don't let me sleep past 5 A.M. They know it's time for me to get up and feed them.
-
During the week I'm always up by about 7:00, if I accidentally sleep in, my cat will jump up on the bed by around 7:30.
-
I had a cat about 15 yrs ago that would wake me up
-
Sure do. If we're still in bed at 9AM, someone is sure to get a dog paw to the head.
-
Yeah, the problem is the cat's set for 4:00 a.m.

We have an Amazon parrot that will start squawking as soon as his sheet is removed (we cover its cage an hour before it turns dark). If someone uncovers its cage before I wake up in the morning and if my room was on the other side of the hous, the parrot would prove an effective alarm clock.

Yes my dog. +5

I have a cat that acts as a seriously malfunctioning alarm clock. 3am? sure! paws and squeaks. the kicker is after yowling and squawking and HOPPING onto my person and screeching the whole time I get ready for work, 5 minutes before I leave there she is on the bed, sound asleep.

yes, my dog....6:30
-
Yes! My dog wakes me up as soon as he wakes up. He figures, if he is awake, it must be time to play, so everyone else needs to be awake (even if it is only 2AM).
-
lol... you bet , my 2 dogs have always been awake as soon as the sun comes up and we had better be awake as well or its 2 large dogs standing on the bed with cold noses and wet tongues ready and waiting to make sure we are
-
One of our cats does get quite rambunctious if we don't wake up and feed him, but we try to ignore him.
-
yes i had birds who acted like alarm clock for me if i slept more then i usually do.but sadly they died couple of days before.
-
oops my cat.
-
Yes my dogs need to go outside as soon as they hear anyone or anything outside. Its usually around 5am every morning. Good question, Im glad to see Im not alone.
-
Yes, the big yellow male. Problem is he thinks breakfast should be an hour before I need to get up.
-
My dog will occasionally get restless if i stay in bed for too long. and want to play! by every morning at around 7am my cat will be right in my face meowing and headbutting me... it is her breakfast time!
-
Not sure about pets, but wild animals for sure. There used to be a murray lark that would fly down and peck at its reflection in my window every day at exactly 6am. Shame it's gone now, would be useful.

We have six cats. It's more than a little difficult to sleep in, even in the weekends! The two youngest know they're not going to be let out until after breakfast so they sleep like little angels. The other four go out at approx 1/2 hour intervals starting around 4.00am. They each have particular habits so I know who it is in the middle of the night who wants me to get out of bed to attend to them!
-
One of my 6 cats does this on a Saturday or Sunday morning which is normally closely followed by him sleeping where my pillow is as soon as I move.
-
Yes, breakfast is at 8:00 am sharp..lol
-
I did have one. It would nudge me and lick my face every morning.
