I don't dignify such things with any response or reaction. The word is a misogynistic judgment of the sexual behavior of women (it - or any synonym thereof with a corresponding negative connotation - has never been widely or consistently used to judge the same behavior in men). Anyone with this type of thinking is not someone worth my time, or my response. What they've said says far more about THEM than it does me.

To some people, 'slut' simply refers to a woman who admits to liking sex and engages in it more often than once and with a partner other than the acceptable longterm boyfriend.
