  • I think they must be a lot like my Mom, my Dad, most of my cousins, and just about everyone in my family.
  • That they're missing out on some great fun. But they do have the right idea for staying healthy, and are doing the sensible thing.
  • Very strong will power :D Or they're Muslims. (alcohol is haram)
  • I only drink once in a while. maybe 2 or 3 times a year and then only one or two drinks. Drinking doesn't matter to me.
  • WHat do I think of people who do drink and always have? WHat does it matter. It's a personal decision. If you don't want it, it's not my problem.
  • there are many reasons why people choose not to drink. they might have come from a family with alcoholics and they swore never to become like their parents. others might not drink for religious reasons. some people are allergic to alcohol ~ many asians experience severe flushing from alcohol. some are health nuts. some people take medications that interact badly with alcohol, or they have health conditions which make alcohol consumption a bad idea. then there are uptight prigs who might benefit from a drink from time to time just to loosen up. but i dont think lesser of anyone because they do or dont drink.
  • well almost everyone in my high school drinks so i think its normal
  • If you don't bug them or ask them about it, then they shouldn't bug you if you do. Then there's peace.
  • I think it's pretty cool to meet somebody with that type of self control. It's so rare nowadays too.
  • I wonder why they never tried it. I tried it and did not like the feeling. But to never try something makes me wonder about the person, what other things did they never try and why. I am very suspicious of people who do not have some type of curiosity, it's human nature to be curious. By not having any I wonder what else is wrong with this person that is not obvious.
  • If they want to piss away their money on sobriety and miss out on all those hangovers that is THEIR problem. . Losers.
  • I met one today, he was my taxi driver. It is in his religion not to drink, and we should try and respect other people's choices and religions even if we don't understand them.
  • Each to their own I say good on that person for having a strong mind
  • happy people
  • That they are not amongst those stupid people who risk their lives for silly things.
  • As someone who never has, I think it shows that a person has good self control because with the way people (especially teenagers) take it as a common thing, there is a whole lot of peer pressure to go out and get wasted all the time. for me though, its not a lack of curiosity, its the fact that i dont like to be in an unclear state of mind, and that i try to treat my body as well as i can.
  • Neither of my parents have drunk. IT was just their own chioce which I respect. They were given a bottle of wine recently and were contimplating trying some. They phoned both myself and my sister to see what we thought. I don't know what wine it was, but it was 17% proof. Would have keeled them over! (They used it for cooking in the end.)
  • I don't drink! It's just healthier and if I want to act like a penguin sober instead of drunk, then just let me. :) +5
  • good for them,
  • Last time I had a drink ended up waking up in someones balcony!
  • I think they're swell.
  • I don't drink and never have. I just made that decision when I grew up around alcoholics. It's just a personal choice. I think everyone also has the right to decide if they want to or not ... for whatever reason.
  • I think they should at least give it a try if they never have, I don't drink but I will if it taste good and I wanna have mega fun in a boring situation lol.
  • I think that is their choice & they can do what they want.
  • Their choice and probably saving good money by not doing so.
  • I've had a glass or so at a time, but I've never been drunk. As others have stated, I don't see the point. It's just a choice. In my case, I find it an experience best indulged in about 2-3 times a year. Is that 'drinking'?
  • If you live judgement free and you are useful to the people around you, then you are all right you are actually truly blessed to be so close to your God-given state, I am sure that your relationships are full and rich. If I am wrong and you are a judgemental person you probably need a drink to alleviate the pain of being all alone on an island of isolation created by being better than people.
  • I'm almost 40 and I've never been drunk. I never liked the thought of not being in complete control of my faculties. I did taste a lot of the drinks my friends were drinking when I was younger, but I never found any of it to be to my liking. I don't think ill of anyone who drinks, but I don't typically associate with people when they are drinking to excess.
