Sure, as long as it's expensive. No, I'm jk. Not all girls. Most girls I know like things that are actually meaningful and shows you put a lot of thought into buying/ making it.

No, and if you go through life believing that all girls do you're a prick. It's just another one of those 'forced' beliefs that is common in Australian society that it could really do without.

There's no way of speaking for all girls. I'm sure a lot of girls like jewelry, but that doesn't mean it's safe to assume that any girl you encounter will like it. Kind of like how some guys like sports, and some don't. There are always exceptions to stereotypes.

I know my mum and my sister both love jewellery, but they have very different tastes. If you are thinking of buying it for someone else I would notice what they wear already, is it gold, silver or multi coloured plastic! Is it big and bold or classy and understated? You could always make comments on other peoples jewellery to check out you girlfriends response!

I like plain silver jewelery, but only rings, or plain bracelets. I rarely wear them though, as my work means I am better off not wearing them (I don't want to damage them). I hate gold, my ears are no longer pierced, and the clothes I wear make necklaces not really useful.

Nope. But even so, it is something that girls should have. Even if the jewelry collection may be small. That's because jewelry can add that extra something to one's outfit. You know, that last finishing touch. By no means, am I saying that you have to wear a ton of jewelry all at the same time. But, a nice pendant or great pair of earrings can really make things look great. At least, it does on my wife!

I don't like jewelry and think it's a waste. There! Now you can definitively say that not all girls like jewelry. If you want to know what a particular girl thinks of jewelry (especially if you're thinking of buying her some), you should ask her yourself.

This girl does! But not scads of it. Almost all the jewelry I wear has some sort of sentimental value attached to it. I either inherited it or it was given to me by a loved one. (Same thing I suppose!)
