Definitely... I am considering working for a year to get a little money together and then I want to go back and do a Phd.
-
No, I think I'd just live my life and travel the world. There are some things you just can't learn from books.
-
G'day Anonymous, Thank you for your question. Possibly. However, the years it would take would mean that I would probably decide not to. Regards
-
...nope, i have the time...could get the money, but I wouldnt do it...its not my thang.
-
I would- just to be with others like me!
-
I would love to
-
I am, I don't have as much time as I would like, and due to following the degree I don't have as much money as I would like - but nonetheless I am doing it - will submit my final thesis on 31st October!!! yayyyyy
-
I am planning to :)
-
Sure, I could also be a super hero if I had powers...
-
Yes happily if i weren't scared f blood.
-
Most definitely.
-
Only if I was so wealthy that I'd never need to work, because doctoral degrees (unless they're in the hard sciences) aren't a ticket to employment.
-
At my age and in my occupation (25, advertising), a doctoral degree would probably prevent me from getting most jobs as that degree generally requires that an employer pay you more. Most aren't willing to match pay to degree without accompanying experience.
-
Hell no, partly because I'm not a good student, but also it's too hard to be a doctor.
-
NO (PhD) Piled Higher & Deeper No offense to you educated life-long learners.
-
I did. Don't!
-
Maybe, I hope to finish my masters after my finishes hers.
-
If the time and money were worth the effort in the end. Just to have the title? Nah. I got nuttin to proove, I'm smarter than most PhD's already!
-
yes, not only would insurance companies pay me more but it would give me a great deal of self-satisfaction...a sense of accomplishment and mastery...and even more credibility in my profession.
-
Only for finacial gain that I was certain of getting. I could have started a doctoral prorgam, but decided to start a master's program instead since I work full time and have two young children and no money.
-
Yes of course. University is such a good time, who wouldn't go back. I'd do it for the experience not for the increase in pay i'd receive.
-
I would like to merely continue going to college courses. The degree would mean little to me, but expanding my education would be great! +3
