One of my pet peeves is people pronouncing it grosheries. Who owns the store ? The Grosher?+5

Eeew. (gross)

Gross-rees. Two syllables, but in New England we're frugal, especially with Rs. We save our Rs so people down south can add them to other words where they don't normally appear... Parjamars for example.

grows-er-ies. Never heard anyone say grosheries. My mother-in-law, as was, could NOT say 'certificate', it came out as 'cerstifficate'. Oh, and 'bronchial' was ''bronichal'. Bless :)

Grosh-er-ies or Grosh-ries Maybe it's a northern thing :)

Grosheries shounds like shomething the actor Sean (Shon) Connery would shay, it definitely has a Scottish shound to it.
