  • The meaning of home has been altered to represent the feeling of worth, comfort, happiness, etc; that with which we assoicate with the feeling of being 'home'. Therefore it means: the feelings I feel when I am with you, make me feel like 'home'.
  • I think it resembles losing a loved one. And like the first guy to answer this question, he refers to the comfort he gets with this person is "home". But then when he says "And I Know What I'd Do Just To Get Back In Your Arms" he's referring to committing suicide just to be with the one he lost.
  • i read on a forum that this song can be directed towards fans. and by that i mean, in fan's point of view (and a few in lines in the band's point of view) how most fans feel more comfortable with the band's music and other fans rather than at home, and how it feel comfort whenever they listen to them. It makes sense, because of the verse, "We're not here to pay a compliment/Or sing about the government/Oxycontin genocide/Adolescent suicide/I give you my sincerity/Don't f*** about a Kennedy" which may sound like they're talking about the meaning of the band.
