By any objective standard, it can be called no less than oppression. I've never listened to Gloria ; BUT I have listened to Joyce Meyer a few times .... I like her presentation ... BUT; I do NOT always agree with her ... and; THAT is ok .

Male or female...I think of most televangelists as scam artists and trash.

ahhh....I have listened to them both, and they have good points, and I believe they have hearts after God. But they are caught in the main stream, not only are the caught in it, but there are the definition of it. . I think all televangelists do more harm then good.

The same as my views on male televangelists. It is amazing how much money they can make providing nothing of value to the gullible. I really wish my ethics didn't preclude me from making vast sums of money selling a lie.

I'm not to high on televangelists, male or female. I think that a large share of them started out with the right intentions but the glare of the lights, the celebrity status and the power that is associated with this celebrity status began to rot them from the inside. The more money that flows into their bank accounts, much of it from people who can't afford to send it, the more they crave. The more popular they become the more they can twist the Word of God and seemingly get away with it. Unfortunately for them, God sees every little thought and move that they make. The virus that has invaded the church today has a name..Apostasy.

They are not teaching anything new or different. They are inculcating the same old lies and generating very large revenue from it--the same as their male counterpart.
