While waiting on someone to answer my question i contacted Loud Technoligies in St. Louis Mo.#1-800-258-6883 and i got the answer quick the Alvarez acoustic electric i needed info on was made in 1989 or 1990 model #5091 with no sound hole made to reduce feedback

There were some Alvarez acoustic guitars without the round sound hole produced earlier than the one you mentioned. I remember the Alvarez rep showing me one in 1983 when I was managing a music store. It was thinner than a standard acoustic, and a very good sounding instrument, especially when amplified. I remember that Trevor Rabin from Yes was endorsing this guitar. I wanted to buy one for myself, but I never did.
