The long hours, the backstabbing (or politics as some call it), and the sheer boredom I feel every day.
-
My work at the moment is a lot of very boring research.
-
The commute. I wish I could just use a transporter like on Star Trek...
-
i hate getting up in the morning and leaving at 5 everyday

The fact that weather conditions interrupt. Right now, home building is difficult. The ground is wet. You can't pour a slab easily. The costs to pour in cold temperatures goes up due to the concrete additives. Roofers, painters, and most subcontractors don't like to work long hours because they freeze their rears off. That's why they work long hours in the summer, to make up for the cold winter months.
-
The fact that I don't have one. You'd think employers would want as many Jews as they could get, but no, not in Salisbury.
-
They don't give me enough to do. I sit here in the front lobby area, checking in very few people, and a few other things, but I'm mainly on the internet all day long, trying to stay busy.
-
doing dishes :(
-
That my boss is running the business into the ground. He pushes a pencil one day a week (that is his total work schedule) and doesn't have a clue about what the numbers mean or why he puts the numbers where he puts them... He is the sole owner.
-
The attendance policy. If you are 30 mintes late or leave 30 minutes early it counts just like you called out completely. That really sucks when you have kids in school and get the occasional call from the school nurse. I am on final warning of being fired because of 2 snow day late starts for school and one school nurse call in 2 weeks. They really don't give any leeway to working moms.

my supervisor

That we dont get paid everyday.
-
The bit between leaving the house and returning home...
-
Not having enough days and hours. I work only parttime on call for when they need extra help for evens at the Convention Center in my city.
-
Having to be there 40 hours a week even though there isn't enough work to keep me busy for that amount of time. In my opinion, I should be allowed to come and go whenever I wish as long as my work gets completed.

-
If I hated it I would find another one, some days are better than others :-)
-
No - but sometimes the corporate BS that comes along with it can be unbearable. Most days it is pretty sweet.
-
I HATE working! But I sooooooooooooo love my job!! It is the only job I have that I have ever LOVED!
-
No. I have chosen what I do and I own & operate two small businesses from my home. I teach a mix of self defense & health sciences and I write software which I sell as shareware.
-
Yes! I work at the only place in the entire state where smoking is still permitted - it's on an Indian reservation - so it's treated like a sovereign nation - I'm looking this weeek for a new job :)
-
Nah. I'm not exactly a FAN of it, but I don't hate it. I just don't get paid enough for what I do. That's okay, though, the bookkeeper is plotting to help me start my own business. =)
-

I hated my job. Now I hate not having a permanent job. I don't mind what I'm doing now while I'm looking, but I can't survive on the pay.
-
No, I mostly like my job. It gets old, I get tired of it, but I would rather do this than just about anything else.
-
I absolutely LOVE my job. The pay stinks; the profession gets very little respect in society; politicians are always jerking us around with new rules and trying to make themselves look good by us paying the cost; but there is no way that I wouldn't want to be a teacher. The relationships I have with students last forever; seeing them "get it" and the pride they get in themselves for their achievements, is so great it makes up for all the political BS.
-
I used to love my job...and then we got taken over by another company..and I hated the new company..they were pretty ugly...I still liked my job but I had trouble treating people the way I was told to.
-
G'day The Wise Guy, Thanks for your question. I like my job. It's interesting. Regards
-
I hate not having a job and that I'm stuck, simply because of what I am and where I live.
-
People who are slackers, working out in the rain, snow
-
Picky/rude/inconsiderate people and an evil manager
-
Inefficient staff who don't do their job properly and as a result tear families apart unfairly due to not interviewing all involved parties or don't investigate all parties and as a result put children's lives at risk. I did write a pretty long answer to this that provided 3 examples of this but the short version is that I work in child protection and when our intake and investigations staff don't (for whatever reason), interview all involved (ie both parents / significant adult carers, teachers and anyone else), they are making decisions based on a narrow view and can risk making the wrong choices regarding the future and life of a child as well as their family members.

Needing it

The pay, the girls that act like they are in High school, The brown nosing and they get the good raises because there kissing our bosses ass the whole time, yet do no work and the rest of us that do our job are shit on. And somehow some girl got a 50cent raise and I only got 20 but "supposidly its based on education. Yet this chick has never taken a college course, and I have my associates. so I know my boss is lying of of her ass....I HATE THE BULL SHIT! If anyone knows of anyone thats hiring let me know!

-
People who feel they are entitled to certain things when actually they should be happy they have a job with good pay. People doing the very least to earn their pay and of course non-stop whining. People would love to have any job, let alone an easy one for good pay!
-
People I work with who make no effort to learn their job. They've become so accustomed to doing just enough to get by that...and GETTING AWAY WITH IT...that they don't even bother putting in anything CLOSE to a full day's work. Inevitably, management turns to employees they can rely upon to get things done, but...WTF? These guys get paid the same as the "reliable" people. Why should some people have to carry the work load without additional compensation? Very frustrating.
-
The ever present possibility of doing something wrong and getting blamed for it----it's like walking on eggshells----you know, the stress of it all.
