My favorite song from a movie soundtrack would have to be "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional. It was played at the end of Spiderman 2. However, my favorite soundtracks are those of the two "Underworld" movies. I don't know the artist(s) or the names of any songs, but I could listen to that music all day.

I don't have one, but I heard that the 'All the Pretty Horses' soundtrack was the best one ever. Some guy was talking about it and how he'd mentioned it to several people at work and all of them came back, beaming about how excellent it was. Never seen the movie either.
