  • Ever see a smoking monkey? Ape/monkey tests were performed in the Mid 20 th century. Second hand smoke methods by locking rats and other creature into boxes and saturating the air with smoke have been (may still be) done. Ironically usually by scientists researching the negative effects of smoking for the purpose of telling us not to smoke. Cigarette companies used to just use humans to test the flavor of the smoke. They may now be conducting animal research to counter the "second hand smoke/Smoking is bad for you crowd" today
