  • As long as you're both 18 and it's consensual, we've got no problems with it.
  • No, I don't:)
  • What do YOU think? It's your life, why worry about what others think?
  • no thats fine.
  • No thats fine..... Age doesnt matter. Its the connection between the people and the feelings that you have. If its what your worried others will think then well dont because its ure choice and many people are with people much older than them. Go for it! x
  • I met my wife when she was 21 and I was 31. We got married when she was 25 and now we've got two beautiful daughters. You tell me? Should she have not gone out with me because I was 10 years older? Go for it.
  • NO ... As long as you respect and treat each other with love and compassion 'n Respect ... Give it a Go and GOOD LUCK !!
  • not at all aslong as your happy then go for it, my wife is 16 yrs younger than me and we are both really happy
  • No problem if his qualities are elder than you as well! Be happy! Best regards Manoj
  • I think it's fine, if you were like, 16 and she was 25 then it would definitely be different but my grandparents are 9 years apart. My aunt and uncle are 13 years apart. And they're both completely happy. Love is love. And people forget how important the phenomenon is.
  • Of course not! When I was 13 believe it or not I had a 23 year old boyfriend. I had lied to him at first about my age! By the time he found out the truth he was in love with me! It was too late for him to be able to say no to our relationship!
  • age is just a number, I am almost 23, and I have dated guys in their early 30's. To me it only gets creepy when they are old enough to be your parent. Also, dating someone older could suck as well because they are in a different stage in their life, my ex's who were in their 3's wanted to get married and settle down and have kids (mind you this was when I was 17-19) and I wasn't ready then. as long as you find someone who wants the same things out of life that you do, it shouldn't matter about age or anything else.
  • love shows no age limits, so yea it is fine
  • no age is just a number anyway and people need to realize that. It all depends on what you have in common and how much you have with the other person and no numbers included at all.
  • No, I married a man who is 8 years old than I am. There are times we joke around about it, but once both people are "legal", age shouldn't matter. Follow your heart.
  • No i don't think so.
  • No. I was 19 and he was 27 when i had a relationship like this one. the funny thing is everyone thought i would be to young for it but in the end i was more mature about the whole thing. its funny how things like that work out. good luck with it! they have more experience =]
  • nope, I think it's fine!
  • aren't there any younger blokes in your town ?
  • No not at all, It would be different if you were 9. But at your age its normal.
  • Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Is there anything wrong having a mate 9 years difference. Not no, but hell no. even if you were 15 years difference if you love one another then that is your business. If others don't like it they can stay home and play video games.
  • No.But they will have a different viewpoint on life and expect different things from the relationship. If you go into this do it with your eyes open. Mid to late thirties are kind of a settling down period when you truly understand who you are and what you want. Mid twenties is the period when you progress from young to adult so it is often a period of flux. If you move in with each other you may well find that after the honeymoon period you actually have nothing to say to each other, or that you are both compromising so much that neither of you is truly happy. Then again you may not. Your question depends upon the self awareness and maturity of you both. Getting carried away by the romantic aspects of your relationship may blind you to some of the longer term realities. Be wise and smart and ypu should be fine. Good luck
  • NO! It in all honesty isn't!
  • As long as you have more alikes than differences it should work out great. I had a guy 14 yrs younger and that was a total nightmare because he was immature and did not want to get a job. But in your situation if both of you have jobs and are in love and want to be together and start a family then go for it and enjoy life while you can because, listen to me, its very short for some of us. Good luck dear!!!!
  • no way girl ,go for it,
  • Heck No, get on with it, times a running out.
  • Manageable!
  • If you have to ask then yes, he is too old for you.
  • Absolutely NOT! I'm 22 and my future husband is 9 years older than me! He's the love of my life!
  • absolutely not! My sister is married to a man 12 years older and my mother is remarried to a man who is 16 years YOUNGER. Age shouldnt matter, especially if you are 18years or older.
