  • Teachers, they do so much for our youth, that they dont get credit for.
  • Teachers, doctors of every field, and people in the armed forces lol. Because I feel they are doing something totally worthwhile and important. They are the people that are working past working hours to get the job done.
  • i came up through the rank fact is the higher you go the less you do, but the more responsibility that you have
  • authors, trust me i know.
  • I am not a big fan of handing out raises. Here's the deal, if the market wants them to get paid more, they will. If their talent is in DEMAND, there will be a raise in store for them.
  • nurses and teachers. I worked in education for 21 years and people have NO IDEA just what all teachers do for our kids and what they put up with: discipline issues, kids who don't want to learn, bullying, worrying with whether they will get shot by a gun a kid brought to school, etc. They work very hard and get little recognition and pay
  • Whores, because they work their ass off!
  • Web developers are incredibly talented, intelligent and humble people who deserve enormous pay. :)
  • Some health workers. When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer we were counselled by a fantastic lady who is the liaison between the medical teams and the patients - her full time job is to tell people they have cancer. Whatever she gets paid, it's not enough.
  • The ones whom employers are willing give the most pay, because that's the way the free market works.
  • If people realized how little paramedics make in some places, including here, they would be shocked. This is especially unfortunate considering the responsibility that they have and the stress they must endure. They screw up, and someone is going to have a really really bad day. They do everything just right, no one notices.
  • Surgeons and Pilots deserve the most, but they get the most already.
  • JUDGES because world n life is nothing without true justice.security is most important in our life.in my india very very late judgment.5
  • Defence, police,
  • Teachers Nurses Police and Firefighters Paramedics Most of them sacrifice a great deal to hold society up on their shoulders.
  • I would say teachers hands down. From a more personal perspective I would say public defenders. That position rotates so much and there are inexperienced attorneys handling the cases. People come and go just to get experience and leave because the pay is so bad.
  • 1. Armed Forces 2. Firemen 3. Miners 4. fishing, axemen etc. basically any job where your life is at risk. Who deserves more than a person who risks there life? Definitly not teachers. I'm so sick of that complaint teachers get so much free time, benefits, tenure, and decent pay. Plus the chance to make a difference in a young persons life.
  • Teachers teachers teachers.
  • Anyone who works as a cleaner, garbage collectors, janitors. Did you see what happened in Italy last year with all that crap lying around - and the outbreak of disease spreads like wildfire, yep the underestimated cleaner works for peanuts but helps prevent us from all getting ill or keeling over.
  • Teachers Teachers Teachers Teaching is the noblest profession to me. I admire teachers a great deal and no matter what we pay them, they are underpaid. They shape our future because they educate our children. They are underappreciated, underpaid and greatly undervalued by society, despite words to the contrary. We keep voting down taxes with respect to education..we are cutting off our noses to spite our faces and shooting ourselves in the feet simultaneously. Yet we have the gall, the nerve, the chutzpah to blame teachers for everything we don't like about our educational system. Talk about being a hypocrite. You vote down taxes and you badmouth the results. :(
  • Without a doubt - TEACHERS!!!!
  • Hard working ones!
  • More pay then others or more pay then they do now?
  • The people who work behind the Screen in movies , the spot boy ,the light boys, the make up man those people work so hard and get pay for really nothing :)

  • Cops, firemen and teachers, pretty obvious why. +5
  • I'm curious as to why everyone thinks teachers are underpaid. I know plenty of teachers making $50K-$65K a year working less than 8 hour days (usually 8-3:30 with almost hour lunch), only 8 and a half months a year, with 10 paid sick days, 2 personal days, and guaranteed job after tenure. Just out of school, they may start low, but so do most other graduates. But most other graduates are working all year around and have to get part time jobs. Put a summer job on the new teacher and he/she will have a pretty nice salary.
  • cares. Anyone rthat devotes their lives to improving the lives of others. care workers get minimum wages and it is their duty to sustain life. Why? nurses too, paid much less than doctors. but i think good cleaners deserve more than minimum wage too, what a world we would live in if no-one did that job, lol
  • I'm going with teachers as well; we rely on them to educate our children. More than that, we rely on them to teach them a certain amount of right-from-wrong, morality, how to behave, etc. Our children spend the majority of their day with their teachers; the teachers should be well-paid for the education of our youth, and should not be placed in a position of resentment, bitterness, and burn-out due to the low wages they are paid.
  • Electricians or freelancers.
