  • With 1 equation with 2 unknowns there are an infinite number of answers. Now if you also knew that x - y = 5 then x = 8 and y = 3. You need 2 equations for a solution.
  • Well, you have quite a few choices, don't you, with a simple equation like that one? If you studied basic arithmetic, you shouldn't have any difficulty figuring them out.
  • It might help you idk😉. if change the function to (X = 11 - y) and choose any y value, then you can get the corresponding x value with that function which if we draw them in a grid it will be a straight line that crosses 11 on both x and y axis.
