  • In general most video cards will play nice together and very little effort is require on your part, once the drivers are installed, you need to check the display properties dialog box and active the second monitor,, the first installed monitor is your primary. The only real precaution you need to take is when you open case is for static electric, and as most people do not have a static strap just try and keep one arm one the case at all time, do this by laying case flat on its back and in a area where there is no carpet.
  • If it's integrated, there is no card to remove. You simply have to connect your monitor to the new card and disable the integrated one in the BIOS when the computer starts up.
