  • "In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist; And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist; And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew; And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up." Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)
  • Of, course we should stand for everything in which we believe. No matter whether some one else is doing right or wrong, coz in all cases the thing which we see as right, won't be right for some other one. Then also we should think a lot before coming into a conclusion. :)
  • You should always stand up for what you believe in no matter what. Otherwise you show up as a weak person who doesn't stand up for his rights and can easily be manipulated and controlled.
  • There are ways to stand firm in your own beliefs without imposing them on others. This one should always do. You should never allow yourself to be swayed easily. One should, however, keep an open mind...you very well may be wrong. It is the action taken because of one's beliefs that can cause significant problems. I think the action should be considered situationally. There are times to make a last stand, and times to live to fight another day.
  • One should always stand firm in our own beliefs but without shoving them down peoples throats. Never allow others to mess around with what you stand for it will be understood as weakness. Never the less respect what others stand for they also have a right to it. There are times when we realize that we are wrong, then we should admit it as it is the decent thing to do, you will stand taller in the eyes of others.
