• You could try to carefully pry the key off and examine it to see whether any of the plastic tabs that may normally hold the key to the keyboard have broken off. If all the tabs are still present, then you can try to reattach the tabs by carefully sliding the key on top of the tabs and then adjusting it until the key "clicks" into place. Keyboards vary though so this may not be the appropriate solution for your particular laptop keyboard. If it's still under warranty, you could contact HP support and ask them to provide a replacement keyboard.
