  • Knife and fork???? no my hands!!!!
  • Etiquette depends a lot upon context. When "dining with the queen" the polite guest does as the queen does, and the queen uses a knife and fork. But in most contexts it's find to use your hands. Just don't wipe the jelly from your fingers onto your pants, that's never polite.
  • Speaking as an upper crust Brit with a pinky that sticks out all by itself - hands! Some things were just made for sucking off your fingertips, and the butter from a hot crumpet is one example. :-)
  • Bare hands, because then you can eat more than one at the same time!!!!
  • knife, fork, spoon, hand... which ever is available at the moment
  • When served like toast .. eat with your hands. Obviously if they are used for a base for something messy ... knife and fork
