Which tv mini-series starring Richard Chamberlain did you like better: The Thornbirds or Shogun? Why?

I watched both of those series and loved both of them. That's quite a toss-up! I found Shogun to be a lot more fascinating with all of the old, Japanese culture, costumes and scenery.

The Thornbirds but, in my defense, I have to say that I was very young and naive when I saw it

I found that my favorite mini-series with Chamberlain wasn't either of those. It was "The Bourne Identity." Long before Matt Damon strapped on the role, Richard Chamberlain played Jason Bourne on the TV and the story was far closer to the book than the Big Screen hit. Hope this helps.

Both were great for me but I have to go with Shogun; it was such an adventure! :D I've been fascinated with Asian culture ever since and am a big fan of Asian film.
