Pirate Bay has again allowed other search engines to access its torrents so BTJunkie and Isohunt are great since they include PB's also. Demonoid is good for older stuff, but a good ratio must be maintained.

I always use isohunt.com hasn't ever let me down.. If you're sitting behind a router, may want to forward ports, otherwise the incoming downloads will be crippled.

The Pirate Bay and Demonoid. I have never had any problems with viruses or anything. Occasionally, I will download a file that doesn't work but it doesn't harm my computer.
