  • I think it is a slice of both with gravy on it. :P
  • Those that suffer the most experience the most pleasure, if they allow themselves to!
  • well I have my health so I am definately not suffering:):)
  • I say pleasure. Life is what you make it to a large degree. It's all in how you react to your given circumstances.
  • waivers in balance and hopefully never reaches the latter extreme
  • While everyone goes through some suffering (Lord knows I've had my share), I think life is more pleasurable. I'm blessed to have a great family, fantastic friends, a wonderful job...and a bf whom I love very much. And better yet, that love is reciprocated.
  • without doubt, pleasure, in every way, every day, is so easy to find something to give you pleasure, even if its just the sun glinting through the clouds :)
  • In the immediate sense, it is more pleasurable, but ultimately there is always suffering. And the ironic thing is, the more we find pleasure in things, and the more we love, the more we suffer because everything is transient, nothing stays the same. Those things we love are also those things we lose in life, and in the end there is only sadness. It is better to acknowledge this fact and take pleasure in the simple, little things in life, like breathing the fresh air and enjoying the sun, and not place too much stock on the big things, like material wealth and relationships. The latter are mutable. The Japanese have a term for this, "mono-no-aware", or the "understanding that all things inevitably change, either for better or for worse." The key is to accept this change. Things may not turn out the way we want in life, but accepting it as such is more important than fighting it.
  • I'm a very lucky gal..hardly any suffering and tons of pleasure for me so far! :) ((hugs))
  • Much more suffering and only a little pleasure here and there. That's what makes the pleasure so pleasurable though...
  • Life is more suffering than pleasure..
  • I suppose if I'm able to whine about how much everything sucks and is so horrible, then it must not be that bad after all. So, I guess pleasure.
  • Suffering.
  • Life is more pleasurable. If yours isn't, you're doing it wrong.
  • Most of the part is suffering and only a little pleasure here and there.Real pleasure comes to us only as "Sunday" We are here in this life to settle our deeds of past. God gives us a break in the shape of pleasure,so that we may get ready for next suffering of life.It is like a wheel all the time.
  • I'm grateful for what I have in life-the love of my family, enough food to eat, a roof over my head, a good job..this list goes on. This is not an easy question for me to answer because I've worried about my family-I've had members of my family and extended family suffer the past three years. But, I always try to move toward hope and the sunshine. I'm unable to choose because I know that life is a combination of both pleasure (happiness) and suffering. All I can say is that hope is one of the most important words in the human language.
  • Everyone has pleasure and pain in their lives. Whether you think it is more one or the other depends on how you allow yourself to percieve it. It is usually easier to remember the bad over the good but if you can make an effort to let the bad fall away you will see life as much more pleasurable!
  • life is what you choose to make of it.....i choose pleasure
  • More pleasurable, and I strive to keep it that way everyday.
