To cut what with, yourself? So, you have self destructive feelings, but you want to put the responsibility on others, by asking this question here? If you ask this question because you want to hurt yourself, then be creative yourself, do not ask us here to say how you can cut yourself. I refuse to be a part in your self destructive game. I know that cutting yourself feels as a relieve for something. But really, it is an act of self destruction. And I am not willing to help you with that. I'm not saying that the urge you have is something 'bad'. The urge itself is to free yourself from emotions that you don't know how to relieve in other ways. That, is very sad! But to act on it, cutting yourself, is not a good thing. Why would you destroy yourself? You punish yourself for something. What did you do to deserve such a horrible punishment from yourself? There is nothing I can imagine. To be honest, you are probably a victim and have learned that it is you to blame, though it is actually NOT you to blame. Because you are probably very sensitive, this is your way out. I also know that nothing I say will put you on other thoughts. Because cutting yourself is also a form of protest, and you probably feel very much in control when you cut yourself. Sorry for my harsh words. But I do think that you need help. Most people who cut themselves are in a downwards spiral. Cutting yourself may give a short feeling of relieve. But at the end, it doesn't solve anything. And people who are so sensitive that they end up hurting themselves, over and over again, are in most cases very sweet lovingly people, with a huge creativity. It's such a shame if all these great things get destroyed by yourself!

i don't really want to give someone ideas on how to hurt themselves...are you asking for yourself? what's going on thats making you want to cut?
-
i use a small serrated knife...but i sometimes use bobby pins and just dig them into my arm

cotton wool.

If you really felt the urge to cut, you would've done it by now with the first thing you could get your hands on, you wouldn't stop to ask others.
-
you can unscrew the blade of a sharpener.
-
The cleanest cut is from a razor but be careful, you can go to deep very easily. If you dont care about looks afterwards, then a thin bladed knife, dont use a seraded one it will mess you up to much.
-
Using a razor like people use for shaving they can be easy to break apart to get the blades

Pop top can lids. That's what I use, it's sharp and cuts pretty deep before it starts to hurt but they also heal fairly quickly. Plus they are so common that if you leave it laying around everyone will just think you forgot to throw it away. There's plent around too. I have lots of soup and dog food cans in my house with pop top lids. You just have to clean it off really really well before you do it. You don't want to get soup and dog food in your wound. Serrated knifes aren't a good idea. I used it once when I didn't have anything else, it's hurts pretty bad and it's the biggest and deepest scar I have now. It took over a year to heal up all the way. Serrated knife wounds are hard to explain away. So serrated knifes are not recommened.

I prefer sewing needles.. it's very very easy to cotrol depth, becaause you have to go over the same spot a bunch of times for it to break the skin all the way. I wouldn't use them if I was in it for blood... but they're perfect if the pain is what works... like it does for me. I'm actually not too fond of the blood... sure, I like the redness after, but the pain is what I'm looking for, and the blood just makes things messy. That said... don't cut. Withdrawls can get REALLY terrible... I'm on day threee.... and I'm about to puke!

everyone has lead pencils right? (mechanical pencils)...get a piece of paper and sharpen the end of it to a point by holding the pencil at an angle and rotating it while rubbing it on the paper... it doesnt go too deep though. got any non serated kitchen knives? those work too. What about art supplies? have an exacto-knife? take the blade out and use it. take apart scissors if you are desperate. take apart a pencil sharpener. (handheld) paper clips if you push hard enough. or a simple razor blade. i highly suggest you try to talk to someone first...stopping cutting is too difficult. Ive been there and its great at the time but explaining the cuts and actually quitting is soo hard. you could email me if you wanna, i kinda doubt it but hey, maybe you will. aussie.moom200@yahoo.com or you could email me and ill give you my number and you could text me if you can. choose wisely (im 15)

as i dont recomend cutting, i will answer anyways because i know how it feels 1. non serated kitchen knife (serated if you want the extra pain) 2. a shaving razor that you break apart 3. a pencil sharpener that has been unscrewed 4. if u have a cat u can purposely piss it off so it will scratch you (not the same sensation but it works) 5. a saw 6.ur fingernails if they are long enough 7. an exacto-knife and if your really devoted to the whole cutting thing, you can go to lowes and get just the replacement blades for an exacto knife, that what i did, and it worked the best

if you feel like investing go to your local decoraton or partysupply store, they should sell a good wrapping paper cutter, usually these come with 1-4 replace able blade inside, and with christmas comming up they should be everywhere, so you should be able to get a good one for less then 20.00 less then 10 if it only comes with the one blade inside inside the contraption. not that i support peopple cutting.. but if your going to do it anyways you might aswell use the right tool for the job.

-
I like using scissors for most of the things I cut around the house
